Andrew Bae is a PhD student at Carnegie Mellon University. He received his BS in Computer Science and Applied Mathematics from Stony Brook University in 2024. He previously interned at Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory and MIT Lincoln Laboratory. His research interests include machine learning, representation learning, and robust model evaluation. From February 2026 to May 2026, he was a Research Intern at Cloudflare, where he worked on unsupervised embedding translation and cross-model alignment.
